    Our planning process started in May 2024. There will be three phases of public engagement leading to a draft comprehensive plan.

      Existing Conditions Analysis

      A review and synthesis of Plymouth’s existing conditions and trends that will form the basis for visioning and strategy exploration.

      Spring - Fall 2024

      Community Visioning

      A collaborate process with community members to develop a shared vision and goals for Plymouth's future.

      Summer - Winter 2024

    • Timeline item 3 - complete

      Plan Elements Development

      An exploration of opportunities and potential strategies. The planning team will work with the community to identify priorities, consider tradeoffs, and develop the topic-based element of the plan.

      Winter 2024 - Spring 2025

    • Timeline item 4 - active

      Implementation Plan and Draft Plan Development

      An iterative process of defining the specific strategies and general timelines to accomplish the plan's vision and goals. The full draft plan will be presented for initial public review and comment.

      Spring - Winter 2025/26

      Plan Adoption

      The formal adoption process by the Planning Board.

    The planning team visited the Center for Active Living (CAL) to discuss the master planning process and ask for ideas about Plymouth's future. We appreciate the interest and responses we received.

    The planning team hosted a table with information about the master planning process and spoke with people about the future of Plymouth. Thanks to everyone who shared their ideas with us!

    Kick-off Public Meeting

    Thank you to the more than 175 people who joined us for this exciting kick-off event. The planning team presented a brief overview of the planning process and key trends influencing Plymouth. Small group discussions allowed participants to share their vision for the future of Plymouth and what's important to them.

    This was the first in a series of meetings and events to share information and hear from residents, business owners, and other community members.
